Hey there, mama!
I’m Lauren…
I’m a wife, mom, and passionate birth doula living just outside of Pittsburgh with my beloved husband and our beautiful son. His birth was a transformative experience that sparked my deep dive into all things maternal and inspired my journey to become a doula. It was evident to me that God was guiding my steps and opening doors, and in the fall of 2023, I began pursuing my doula certification through the Masters of Maternity program at CCAC.
I specialize in supporting redemptive birth stories, including VBACs (vaginal birth after cesarean) and births following trauma. I believe in the power of healing through birth and am honored to walk alongside families as they reclaim their birth experiences with confidence and hope. My prayer is that our time together leaves you feeling informed, equipped, and truly empowered, no matter what kind of birth you’re envisioning.
As a doula, I’m here to support you in a way that feels personalized and meaningful. I’m not here to replace your partner but to encourage and empower them as we work together to create a strong, supportive team. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated, hospital, or home birth — or anything in between — I’m here to help educate and empower you to make the choices that feel right for you and your family.
In addition to my work as a doula, I serve alongside Sola Gratia Vita Soul Care Ministry, a non-profit offering compassionate, faith-based counseling support for pregnant and postpartum individuals and couples. With a special focus on those healing from trauma and loss, Sola Gratia Vita provides personalized sessions, support groups, and respite retreats to help women navigate the emotional and spiritual complexities of their perinatal journey. This ministry reflects my heart for walking alongside women in every season of motherhood, ensuring no one faces their struggles alone.
Every birth is unique, and every story matters. I’m here to meet you where you are, provide the care you need, and celebrate your strength every step of the way. Let’s “doula” this together!

“I do not care what kind of birth you have…a home birth, scheduled cesarean, epidural hospital birth, or if you birth alone in the woods next to a baby deer. I care that you had options, that you were supported in your choices, and that you were respected.”
